Fort Langley: Discover The Past (A Guided History Walk at Derby Reach)
July 20 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Join Aman Johal, a Heritage Interpreter with Parks Canada at Fort Langley National Historic Site and a Storyteller with Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours, as he leads us on a stroll through Derby Reach, the location of the first Fort Langley.
Discover and learn with us on this free family-friendly guided walk along the Fort to Fort Trail. Learn how the land changed over time, the families connected to it, how it was a booming gold rush town in 1858, and discover the plans that once were made to make it the first capital of the colony of British Columbia.
We’ll be meeting across from the Heritage Area parking lot at the Fort to Fort trail sign. (10748 Allard Crescent).
